Fist of all there are so many options for couples that are trying to concieve and dealing with infertility. So don't lose hope. The other thing is I would have them talk to their Dr. about doing another Semen test because it takes a man 3 months to produce sperm so if he was sick or had a fever or anything 3 months ago he may actually have a normal count this one may have just been low due to the illness. Also I would have them do blood work to check his testosterone, fsh. lh, prolactin, and thyroid as all of these play a role in male sperm production. She could always start him on a vitamin just to help his sperm's quality and maybe even count. I would tell your daughter about this website and encourage her to join. There are some amazing people on this site that can offer alot of advice and support.

Keep us updated on their progress. . . . . I will be praying that they will get a BFP on the first try!

We had male factor infertility due to low count, morphology and motility. We did IVF with ICSI and got pregnant on our first cycle. They can do wonders today with infertility. I wish your daughter and son in law tons of luck!!
