Lyme Disease Support Group
Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.
If you think you might be getting sick - my LLMD told me to take 50,000IU of Vitamin D 3 to get over being sick, or prevent it, quickly. Not regular D which he said does nothing but D3. I read and apparently that is the kind of D our bodies make when in the sun. Normally I take 20000 IU's since I am so D deficient. Hope that helps a bit.
I tried an electric blanket last year and that was a bother to my husband so I bought an osolating(spell?) heater and put it on my side of the bed and it blows just enough on me to keep me warm.
I also commented to my hubby that we all need to get our levels of Vit Dchecked because they say most people are low.
Thanks again for the info it will be well used :)
And we're having nothing but cold rain. It makes my muscle and joint pain so much worse, and my headaches. And nothing can make my hands warm up.They get so cold they hurt. I make the tea too. In the morning and afternoon. Of course, following doctors orders, I drink decaf, lol. But it's warm all the same. The other day I even made hot chocolate.
hugs, CJ
