Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.
Yeah, SPRING IS HERE!!!!I was out yesterday morning and heard the birds chirping! I am so happy it is here. What do you like about Spring. Lets get something positive going, List your 3 favorite things about SPRING.
1. I love to hear the chirping of birds
2. Watching flowers peek out of the ground and then suddenly bloom.
3. Feeling the warm sun on my face and having a feeling of everything becoming new and alive again!!

2) The hyacinths poking out of the ground, determined to grow regardless of the temperature.
3)More sunshine. More rain, too, but at least we don't have to shovel the rain!
2) Seeing new growth on all plants, but especially the green shoots of peonies popping through the ground and knowing something really good is coming back, even though it all seemed to be gone
3) Getting my hands in the dirt and planting something new
2. Seeing the first crocus of Spring - it was cold, but I have one blooming already!
3. Easter, my favorite holiday of them all :)
