Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.
I shake worse when I have been doing too much (like taking a shower and getting some breakfast - pretty strenuous huh?). Thus nights are worse from the daily activity. And it is strange that it is really bad when I just wake up, and I'm still in bed.
Sometimes it freaks me out and I worry that something else is wrong with me, but usually I trust what I have been told... that it will get better when I've been on antibiotics longer.
Also, standing too long makes me shake. Anything where my muscles are doing the littlest bit of work, they shake. Very weird. And scary.
