Hello all! I am a "newbie" in name only. was just ix'ed on 11-14-2007. from what I can figure, and how I am presenting now, I've probably had Lyme for oh say 8 years plus. (just a guess) but I am TOTALLY CLUELESS!!! was being evaluated for MS when Lyme from spinal tap came back positive. doing 10 days rocephin now.....then what....help!!
he he....also being treated for irretractable migraine with topamax (and RLS and sleep apnea and and and and ) please guys , add me to friends, message me, shoot me (j/k) I'm at a loss!

Welcome "Newbie." I can't wait to find out how long I have had Lymes. My appt. is Weds. to receive the results. They did tell me already I am positive for Babesiosis. Rocephin is new to me and ten days doesn't seem like a long time. Is your doc lyme literate? Do you suffer from any symptoms? Keep updating your post.

Good question! is my doc Lyme literate...hmmmmmm. honestly I dunno. I KNOW I'm not! what happens after the rocephin? no clue. Symptoms? yes, all of them, 'cept that testicular pain, have avoided that :P (sorry for the sarcasm, my way of dealing) any advice would be greatly aprreciated!

I agree, 10 days does not sound like nearly long enough if you have had Lyme for 8 years.

thats a guess on my part. In 1999 I had a 3 week episode when I was bedridden vertigo, nausea, fatigue, some numbness. docs tested be for all kinds of stuff and came to no conclusion. Lasted 3 weeks. repeat performance in 2003, lasted 6-8 weeks. no here I go again. this is the worst though and the symptoms leading up to the crash are more severe. can't say for sure whether other 2 times were Lyme or not, just a guess. and I am sooooooooo lost!
