Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.

There's a documentary on Netflix about a singer, Kathleen Hanna" who quit due to Lyme It's called "The Punk Singer"

I just caught the Doc "Under our skin". Quite disturbing and frustrating to watch how the FDA and CDC take control of our lives thru lies and witch hunts. Ive been dealing with Lyme for 3 years with my wife and a child and now understand what were up against. We finally have found the right ND doctor and are getting the treatment weve so needed.

ND for your family. Three years is a long time and I hope they'll
get some good treatments to help with this illness.
Yes. Under Our Skin. I've seen it several times at local
support groups. It is most difficult to sit through for me and
disturbing like you say. First, having to deal with the actual
health and then realize that there's a whole political aspect
going on in the medical and insurance worlds around this.
I've read some of the things which Senator Blumenthal
from CT has done to try and advocate for people with Lyme.
There are some congress people aware it seems but
it also seems to be slow going.

No Lyme before 1970's?
You may wish to read Lab 257: by Michael C Carroll.
It refers to Plum Island bioweapons research. You may've
heard of this reference.
Another place I came across:

Dana Walsh from UOS put together. If you click on the
Dr. Klinghardt video, he talks about early caveman having
this some 5,000 years ago. He also talks about global
warming and environmental ties. There are other
interesting places to visit on this site which have to
do with ways of healing from Lyme
