Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.

IS THERE MORE I SHOULD BE DOING???? WOULD LOVE TO KNOW
For the detox bath, add four cups of Epsom Salts, 32 ounces of hydrogen peroxide, and 8 ounces of baking soda (optional) to a warm (not hot) bath and soak for at least twenty minutes. Use a dry skin brush and brush your skin in circular motions toward the heart before you get in to the tub.
I wrote that baking soda is optional because some people believe it should not be added with hydrogen peroxide. If you do a search on detox baths, you will find some sites recommend the two ingredients mentioned and some recommend all three.
Target carries all of these items, and they are pretty inexpensive.
A good foot bath is to add one tablespoon of mustard powder and one teaspoon of cayenne pepper to a basin of warm water and soak your feet for at least twenty minutes. You can use the skin brush on your feet before soaking them.
Depending on where you are in treatment, these baths may make you feel worse. I suggest trying them for a few minutes at a time and working up to twenty minutes to see how you respond.
I have access to a steam room at the gym, and I sit in there several days a week. This seems to help me the most.
Exercising as much as you can is also very beneficial. This increases both the oxygen level and the body temperature (which the Lyme bacteria do not like).
Drinking a lot of water and eating healthy is also important. Many people who have Lyme benefit from eliminating processed carbs and sugar.
If your liver is healthy, taking the supplement Milk Thistle can help. Sometimes people who have Lyme get elevated liver enzymes. If your liver is healthy, taking this can help keep them in the normal range. Ask your doctor if it is okay for you to take it.
I hope this helps!
