Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.
I have facial paralysis and get a lot of twitching there. So do get involved in this.
I've had twitching as well. Eyebrow, eyelid (probably looks like I'm winking at you!), arm, leg, tummy muscles (alien~!). I found it really amusing to watch until I realized it was Lyme. Now it pisses me off...
I'll see if I can find a link to the pamphlet. It has 5 pages of sx related to Lyme. I'm using this to track which of mine have gone away.
