Lyme Disease Support Group
Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.
Cure Unknown is NOT the book for a newbie who is looking for 'answers' about how to cure themselves.
There is no 'known cure' yet. That's not to say that many people don't get 'cured' with this or that protocol.
Some really DO get 'cured' for all practical purposes. (It's not 'known' why.) But that might be a remission. (That's also 'unknown'.)
Most of the 'cured' reach a remission that can last a long time (lifetime?) but need a 'boost' of abx every now and then. (It's also not 'known' why yet.)
Some people in remission will need to go back on abx much sooner than 'every now and then'. It's not 'known' why or who those people will be.
I suspect, not 'know', that it's because we each have a different body with different genetic backgrounds or immune systems that are different in it's ability to help. Plus a myriad of other reasons.
Pam tells what 'cured' her and her family. That's isn't what might 'cure' the next person, not at all.
Here is her web site which has a page devoted to the book http://www.astralgia.com/
She is also on FaceBook and might answer a query about the book. I know she used to but I stopped reading FB a long time ago.
