Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.
Any handy gadgets you guys wish existed (or were accessible) for coping with lupus symptoms???
And yes I know EVERYONE wants a cure but just for the sake of this thread think of something else to invent:)
I would invent a bracelet that resets every morning and starts beeping when I have had 20 minutes of sun (at medium strength) or the equivalent! You could set it to give you a warning that your quota is coming up soon and even get it to calculate differently when you have been good and are wearing suncream! I need one!!
I also need a nighttime lotion that smells fantastic that will get rid of the maddening nighttime itch. It has to work everytime and for all people! Oh and if we are not thinking of "medications"...
Then I am inventing magic non-itch sheets. When you slip into bed your skin is magically cooled and soothed and DEFINATELY NO itches!! (except for that one foot you stick out for equilibrium lolol) It is guaranteed to work for EVERYONE EVERYTIME :)

Your invention reminds me of my little one that keeps putting USB sticks in her ears!! (Seen the big kids with headphones). Are you going to have any design features that will make it hard to forget our "memory sticks"? or does it permanently sit in our USB Port that we all miraculously now have? :) :D

That goes a step beyond sunscreen. It is so thick that it actually acts like a second skin and doesn't allow any UVA or UVB rays through sO yOu can stay in the sun without devastating effects. I would call it "second skin" cream.
Have you ever tried an ebook reader/ ipad with stand? Keeps a "book" flat lol! I thought I wouldn't like one because I love paper books but it is actually great. Have you got a name for the chair that is going to let you sit up comfy in bed?...

I would invent an AFFORDABLE bathtub with an elevator type system that would lift me in and out without me having to hurt more getting in and struggle to lift myself out. When I'm cold and/or achey all I want to do is soak in a warm tub, but the thought of going through the pain of getting in and out of the tub completely turns me off of the idea.
