Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.
So I go to the drug store to pick up my meds and my doctor sent over a surprise script for Voltaren Gel.
Anyone heard of it? Used it? Did it work? My Lupus symptoms are extreme elbow, knee and ankle pain.
Any input would be appreciated.

I've used Voltaren Gel, Just rub it on gently to the affected area and leave it. It is absorbed by the skin and works the same as the tablets. Good luck. Hope it works for you.

I've used for an inflamed bump on my heel and it worked. Hope you will get some relief.

My doctor perscribed Voltaren Gel for me because I have joint pain in my knees, but the current treatment I'm on doesn't settle well with my stomach. Using the gel has been wonderful since I don't have to take another pill. I hope it works well for you too! :)

I have used Volatren Gel and it has helped tremendously with knee pain.

I to have used it and works the first few times but noticed that the more you use it the less it wants to work so I have found an alternative and use it every other time or so .... It's over the counter at most of your drug stores .... Absorbine Rapid Relief , not the best smelling but does work . Good Luck !

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
