upset stomach

For the last few weeks I have been getting upset stomach's to the point I don't want to eat, they don't last long but are sure annoying, anyone else having this happen

I can be plagued with upset stomachs to the point that I vomit, for no apparent reason. However, I also have severe acid reflux and take 3 Nexium a day. My Lupus cough which is a very hard cough upsets the reflux which I wonder if it sometimes triggers the nausea.

The summer months with the heat and humidity to a number on my tummy. My hubby and I have found the best stuff (it's really hard to find though) it's called Nausene- they are cherry flavored chewable tablets that work to get rid of nausea in less than 4 minutes! My hubby suffers from migraines and one time he had one so bad that he was vomiting from the pain- couldn't even keep down water to take his medication. The doctor called in a script of compazine suppositries but we tried these first- they are a Godsend! The only place we have been able to get them is at Rite-Aide Pharmacy in the upset stomach isle- good luck, xoxoLyn

Oh yes...i am sick to my stomach a LOT...this has been going on since i became ill. Then when i started the meds on top of that..i became worse!! So they did a upper GI & my stomach is raw, so now i take Nexium & if i get so bad i throw up, just cant get rid of it i take Zofran & that helps a lot. Best of luck to you.

in my experience, it is best to follow directions exactly when taking meds. like when I take my cellcept, I can't lie down or sit still. when I do I am sure to get chest pains. when I eat spicy foods or tomatoe sauce (chili) i also tend to get upset stomach days after, so I minimize that. I just started my Perricone diet (eating less refined carbs and more omega 3 and anti-oxidants) and that has helped me.

What meds are you on. i use to get nausea alot, but its worse now. I take Plaquenil and it can cause stonach upset...Hope you feel better soon....Rustyjo

i forgot to add, u can try eating 6 small meals instead of 3. It's easier if you have a meal planned. When my mother in law had stomach problems too, she tried Aloe vera juice and yogurt (i use Kefir by lifeway)--to restore a good digestive balance back. Drinking ginger (pill or tea) right before a meal will also give u an appetite, and try not to drink ice cold water because that suppresses your appetite.

yes, for a long time my tummy was a mess. until my acupuncturist recommended that I try "probiotic pearls". it's the same idea as what you find in yogurt, but it's a little pearl/tablet and you know exactly what amount you are getting each day and you don't have the calories that go with yogurt.

this cleared up my tummy once and for all and now I just take one of them every day. give them a try. you can even buy them on amazon.com.
