My flares are extreme life sucking fatigue, major increase in pain and sleep disturbances and increase in night sweats.

WOW--Ladies I am sooo sorry. This illness is horrible! I have read your post, and I realize that I am not crazy.. I am just sick. I have to accept that I really have an illness-its been very hard to do. I can relate to all of your symptoms. And for months I feel like I have been in a flare. (some days better than others)
I have extreme fatigue, that is the first to set in, then the pain starts all over. Burning-throbbing pain-especially in my legs and arms. Also, I get a sore throat I think its my lymph nodes. I just can not do much some days.
Since I've been on the Plaquenil, the flares are farther apart, but they are still there!
Praying for all of us---If only there would be a miracle drug to help us through this.

I feel the same now pretty much everyday with the Plaquenil. Only new symptoms that erupt are the throat pain that comes and goes and maybe pluerisy type pains around my trunk area. I think the medication really levels things out. As long as I rest I almost feel normal parts of the day. Its the afternoons that are a little harder. I also never get fevers, which I find strange because I did when I first got sick two years ago.

i get pleuritic pain, FATIGUE, fever, night sweats and eventually lots of muscle aches. I have developed a malar rash in the past 3 months..it looks, not so nice.

I also feel like i have a cold.

All I can tell you is, that I start feeling like a mat truck just ran over me. I start feeling really wiped out, then the knee pain starts. Last night I had a bad episode of it. The funny thing was it didn't happen until my two year old daughter woke me up around 2:30 a.m. last night. When I went to get up and use the bathroom, my knee started hurting real bad, and needless to say I ended up having a sleepless night, not just because of the pain, but my daughter has caught a bad head cold that she caught from her brother. Now both my kids are sick, yeesh! It never ends. :P

My daughter's flares start with her falling asleep all the time, sore jaw and she has a panniculitis on her left leg which almost always reappears before the other symptoms ( about 24 hrs before). Sore knees and ankles and foggy memory. Since starting prednisone during flares, symptoms have lessenned somewhat. Last flare (knee pain, sore teeth and jaw, fatigue, nausea and she has more bad temper) lasted about a week without treatment. She is fine at the moment but she avoids the sun, this is usually how hers starts.

OMG, where do i start. Gonna be 43 and feel like 83!!! My body hurts all the time. I have a 3 yr old son and an almost 5 yr old daughter. My feet are the worst for the last 3 yrs. Now radiating into pain and aches in my legs. Sometimes my feet and back burn. My hands and feet are always cold, like they were in the freezer. My husband just doesnt understand how i feel and i am now depressed i guess cause of emotional shit i went thru. Tried to connect with his daughters from previous marriage that we havent talked to in 5 yrs and they pretty much blame me for us not having a relationship with their father and I did NOTHING to these girls. Now i live far from my own family since i married him and i am feeling isolated and getting into a bad depression. Worst i have ever been.

My current flare has had my entire body achy and stiff. All of my muscles hurt. My knees and elbows have been burning on fire and all joints just really sore.My arms and legs also feel really heavy. I haven't even been able to carry my purse which is small. I've also had a bright butterfly rash and fatigue. I usually always get a rash with a flare but not this time. Each time my flares vary slightly.

I usually can tell when the flare is coming when the rash gets worse....like redder or larger....I hate the rash!!!!!!!!
It seems to be that my monthly cycle makes me feel awful...I call it a flare because I am in bed atleast 2 days during the process....my calves and feet hurt so bad I cant walk!!! Hairloss, fevers, back pain, headaches and extreme fatigue!! Lately I get shortness of breath. I had a CT today and I already got the results and all seems ok according to the Dr. So will be looking for more answers.....Hang in there....

Sharing my flares. Always tired but when I flare I am in bed sleeping, all day-every day, until it's over. I can barely function, if I can function at all. I always have a lot of pain and random acts of swelling. My favorite is the mouth sores, because even though I don't lose my appetite, It is just too damn painful to eat.

I've been MIA for a while! Wow, times flies! Anyway, I've been sleeping like crazy for the past couples of weeks, sore arms and legs, brain fog... and it keeps going on...

I have severe brain fog. I go to the store and cannot remember why I am there. I cannot concentrate. I am more tiered than normal. By noon, I am ready for a nap. I also get mouth sores.

I feel as though someone has taken a baseball bat and beat me up with it. Sometimes it is one day, sometimes it lasts a few weeks.

My flare ups differ sometimes, but mostly consist of muscle pain and weakness, difficulty walking, my body feels on fire, I have joint pain, muscle pain, neuropathy, inflammation, extreme fatigue, flu like symptoms, memory problems, inability to concentrate, poor word recall, etc. More recently I have developed body tremors.
