I was wondering if anyone could help me.
I have uber sore skin especially on my face. I haven't had any purposeful sun exposure but it is the height of summer in Australia.
I feel like I am sunburnt and it has been going on for weeks. I have also had something I thought was a hormonal pimple breakout but I am pretty sure now that it isn't. I have spots that look a lot like pimples. They are very small clear fluid filled blisters. They are quite deep. I am a picker (sorry to gross ppl out) and every single one of these things has scarred!! (years and years of acne has not given me more scars) My face feels angry and red and stings. ice packs seem to help.
Any ideas would be most welcome...
1- Anybody have a potential name for it?
2- Ideas on what might make it feel better? I am puting paw paw cream on at the moment but EVERYTHING ELSE stings to high heaven. I had issues just washing my hair if a teeny bit of shampoo water got on my face I would be crying. Never even had sunburn feel like that!

I don't have any specific answer, because unfortunately every Lupus-skin reacts very differently to all sorts of different face- or body-creams.
Because of this distressing problem, I always use dermatologically approved skin-care without any parfum-smells etc.
I also make sure that the body-face-cream I use on my oversensitive-Lupus-skin is very gentle and on my overall-body I use gentle, non-allergic simple baby-cream.
On the skin of my face I only use a gentle face-cream which is dermatologically approved and causes me no problems.
You could ask your pharmacist/chemist about this, they usually know just about everything about non-allergic-creams which can be used on an easily-allergic-reacting-Lupus-skin.
When I had this problem I became very desperate and went to my pharmacist for help. They advised me to use a specific non-allergic-dermatologically approved face-cream and a baby-cream for my overall body and both are very reasonably priced and I still use the same creams after all those years and I had no skin-problem ever since...

He could bring his rosecea-problem under manageable control with the help of his research on the Internet and after that he eliminated all the food which caused his sensitive skin to flare-up ... and since then he could keep his rosecea under manageable control without any medication...
Mind you, he still has to make sure about everything he eats (i.e. he only eats home-cooked fresh food, self-baked bread etc., but all that is a very small price to pay toi get rid of such a terrible skin-problem...
