Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.
Hows your nose? I agree'd with bruno. Unless it continues to bleed and will not stop I wouldnt go to the er. You put yourself at risk anytime you go to the hospital to catch other things (if you are on immuno suppressants, that is). Nose bleeds can happen for alot of reasons but if they start to happen more frequently I would see a dr. I cant remember if you also have aps. If you do and it continues to bleed, it could be due to your blood being too thin. You may want to have a steptic stick at home which stops bleeding. Hope everything is ok, though.
