headaches and disorientation

Anyone else get these awful pressure like headaches and feel disoriented during them?? During exacerbations, I tend to wake up fine, and within a few hours have the most pressure all in my head/ears eyes, neck and feel dizzy, disoriented and for sure brain fog as well.. it's awful... I tend to have more numnbess tingling when this happens.. it will happen daily for a few weeks at a time.. misery

I totally understand about the headaches. I too have had headaches like that. My rheumy told me that it wasn't lupus related so sent me to a neurologist. He put me through a bunch of tests. He told me that I need counselling to get rid of the headaches. Now my headaches are worse as I think I have gout. I'm sorry I don't have any answers but I do know what you are going through. If you find something that helps with your headaches, please let me know.

Have you asked your doctor about them. Maybe upping your meds would help, but I know exactly what your talking about. A rheumy once told me to try low dose aspirin. You would have to try it once a day for a month or so and see if it helps. I've been doing it lately and it seems to help with the fog and headache.

Thank yall!! I have been told to do a baby aspirin, ,I will start doing that again.. It's just so strange how it waxes and wanes .. it's pretty miserable! I mentioned it to my rheumy and she wants me to mention it to the neuro at my apt in two weeks

This link might help, my chiropractor who really doesn't like to adjust cervical spine unless necessary, when I told him I was in a flare with the pressure/cluster headaches, he adjusted this part of my neck, so far so good.
Also recently purchased a memory foam pillow and am sleeping thru nite, more comfortable, relaxed. etc.
I also take two 325mg aspirin in morning AFTER eating.
