I am in limbo land, but have a lot of strange neuromuscular symptoms, rashes, GI and cardiac symptoms.. I get IVIG for it all.. My ANA is always quite high, but I have a question about joint pains
I noticed years ago when I leaned on my wrist (as if to crawl) it hurt quite a bit.. and now if during a "flare" it can be excruiciating - mostly wrists, knees and ankles.. at times elbows and even my clavicles (ac joints).. I can't lean on my hands at all when I have these flares- even to touch the joints Kills.. they are mildly swollen, but never red... does any of that sound familiar to yall? Sun make sit all worse too :(

Yes, my wrists and thumbs are worst, followed by knees and ankles. Can't touch the joints because of pain. They are warm to the touch. Also, I've lost flexion in my wrists, which makes everything difficult.

wow, you sounds just like me! I can barely flex my wrists as well, mostly due to excruciating pain.. ugh... i loved when I was on the loading dose of plaquenil - i had almost no joint pains... then when I had to half the dose, I have flares where it is really difficult to even play with my kids :(

Does it happen on just one side or is it both sides evenly?

overlook- it's both sides at times, but they are not equal.. it started out with my non dominant wrist (my right wrist was never affected).. then it can be one and not the other.. same with knees ankles and elbows.. they have all been affected pretty badly on both sides, but rarely equally at the same time. Does that add any clues you think?

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
