All I can say is UGHHH right now!! I feel so terrible!! My chest hurts...my feet are tight and puffy...and it's taking all the little energy I have to drag my body of this couch...I'm so wondering could this be because I stopped the Cellcept!! I hate feeling like this....Every morning for the last week or so I've woken up with my back aching and my feet aching and swollen....I'm pretty sure that once I tell my rheumy about this next week then she'll probably suggest going back on cellcept. I would prefer to not go back but if it'll take away this feeling then I won't object!!

Im almost positive that the reason why you feel so terrible is because you went off the cellcept :( It took about 3 weeks for my symptoms to come back full force (and worse actually) when I was tapered down 1mg of prednisone.....This is actually how the dr.s can tell whether or not your ready to be taken off a drug. If your symptoms come back then your not ready....I know its maddening and frustrating since you hated being on it but as you may have learned, the benefits of the drug may outweigh the risks...Maybe if you havent tried Immuran yet, you can try that drug? I have heard the side effects arent as bad. It may just be worth asking about. You dont want to be off a drug that helps you for too long as it will only take longer and be harder to get your immune system back under control....Im sorry your feeling terrible and hope you start to feel better soon. Let us know what happens.
