Hi all, sorry to ask another question. But I just thought of this. It was kinda weird and I cant believe I did not think to ask it but it is kinda late and I had a very hard, and stressful day (got lost in Austin for almost 2 hours, driving a standard in the Hill Country!). Anyway, while I was at the nephrologist (kidney doc) today, after looking at my funky brown and white lacy legs he asked me this particular questions: "Do you experience heart palpitations?" I told him that I have tachyardia and sometimes feel my heart speed up real fast and feel like it is jumping round. He then asked, "Do you ever flush?" I started laughing and said I flush all the time. That it is very embarrassing because my face literally turns as red as a tomato. He finally asked, "Do you ever break out in sweats?" I told him I have been breaking out in sweats for years now. I will be shopping in a store and will suddenly break out in a horrible sweat. I will feel sick to my stomach, dizzy and weak. I have found that this happens in stores with flourescent lights that are very bright. My doc from before said maybe I am allergic to flourescent light. I had to quit a job because the flourescent lights were literally making me very sick and causing a fine rash on me. I asked them to get thos light covers on them since they are so cheap and they never did it. So I left.
Could this be symptoms of lupus? I read from one of the posters that the RA group hates it when people write in and say I have sore joints do you think I have RA. Well I was on the RA board here for some time and they never struck me like that. They seemed very kind. I mean how else are we supposed to find out this stuff if we dont ask the experts---the folks who have the stuff we are trying to find out info about. Its scary to have to wait for 3 weeks. Especially since I want to start a Medical Assisting program and my husband will not let me start it until I am medically fit and able to go to school every day. I want to start now, but you know how husbands are....Thanks again! You guys are great!

I am so stressed out right now. I had the super high hypertension for about 6 weeks and basically never felt distressed about it. I mean I wrote on the boards to find out info but that is just me, I like to know what is goin on. So finally it just hit me today what is actually going on with me. I am so frigin freaked out!!!! Since my bp is going down my family is not acting concerned anymore. Its like when someone dies and the family member is numb for a long time and all the supporters leave and then the family member freaks out. That is how I am feeling right now. You should see my leg, it is bouncing up and down a million miles a minute. I just want to smoke a cigarette and run away to a nice little hidey hole. Wanna join me? We could run off to Rockport on the Texas coast. They have beautiful bay homes there and they are not that expensive. We could sit up on the balconies and just smoke to our little hearts content!!!
You take care girl and remember that what you do is YOUR DAMN business and not anyone elses. So if you wanna smoke and it helps your anxiety and panic then do it. No one owns us and the last I checked we live in America and we are supposed to be free. Well for a little longer I hope!! Tamye
