Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.

My daughter is having her third treatment today. An I.V. drip three days running. I will keep you posted on her results. So far it has just made her a little tired after the treatments.

I've had this book for years. I remember first reading it, and it is tough read if you're not 100%. This is not a book to read in the midst of a crisis. I think it would have been helpful if i could have read it in a "book club" type of situation, where I could have had feedback from others. Maybe because the info is SO true and SO right on the mark. It can be a little unsettling if you're feeling "off".

Then one day I went back and I told him that I had found the cause of my allergy. It turns out, I am allergic to betrayal.
