Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.
I too have been interested in the effects of cannabis and lupus. I can't exactly experiment with it in the state I live in, hopefully someday though :D
This girl on youtube does a lot of experimenting with it and I believe she does it just for the Lupus and she doesn't actually get high. She does use cannabis oil as well as many other forms.

Good luck to you!
Strains that are high in cannabinoids and cannibinidol (sp?) but low in THC are great with helping arthritis pain and have an anti-inflammatory effect. There's been research in this area and how it relates to Lupus.
I'v also used other strains and edibles to help with nausea. My nausea was so intractable the doctor wanted to put me on Thorazine, which is a strong antipsychotic!
Doctors need to catch up as the law changes and consider this option instead of damaging pharmaceuticals.
I'm not saying nobody should try using it to get relief. Just be aware that it's not a free ride. Some of us may be more sensitive than others to its toxins. If you're having liver problems, be very careful. Toxins are broken down in the liver...it might be a good idea to monitor liver function if you try it.
