Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.

I am a member of a Facebook group that is currently discussing why the KP is activated in lupus and other autoimmune diseases and its association with many of the other symptoms you listed. Here is a link if you would like to check it out.

BTW, be sure to take a look at the links Kelsey24 provided. I follow the FB group that she posted, and have received lots of helpful info. Also, I've started working on my digestive issues because of that info and am seeing some positive results. I eat things such as kimchi, sauerkraut, and sourdough bread, and I drink kefir and kombucha. I no longer can eat grain-fed beef, and have purchased part of a grass-fed cow. As a result, my food no longer sits in my stomach to make me feel uncomfortable. And my skin and hair are showing signs of improvement.
