Just wanted to say hi. I'm new to the group. Ive been in an Ldr for about 7 months. We text everyday multipul times a day. Our first time spent together is going to be next month. Shes coming to visit me for a week. I'm extremely excited, but kind of nervous at the same time.

Hi Justin. I remember meeting my partner for the first time after talking on the phone and on-line with him for 7 or 8 months. The first time we met in-person, we decided to met at the beach and spend a week together. We were both nervous until we saw each other, gave each other a huge hug and a kiss and all the nervousness just left at that moment, it felt like we knew each other forever. We had a fantastic week together and there wasn't even one minute of things feeling awkward or uncomfortable.

When you know it's right, as soon as you see each other in-person, it'll all be good. How far away are the two of you?

I will be sure to do that. I hope its going to be as good as I imagine it. you know what wierd, I find myself doing certain things and all of the sudden I get emotional out of nowhere. like when iam watching movies or reading. For example, I was reading the last Twilight novel. there was one or two chapters, I started tearing up. I think it was because I think of being with her in those same situations. Things like that never would happen before I met her.Its kind of cool.

Hello Justin! My boyfriend and I have seen each other more times than I can count (we were best friends before), and I still get nervous when I first see him. After we hug and kiss it all fades away though! It is so exciting that you two get to spend a week together, I am sure your going to have a great time! Make sure you let us know how it goes!!
I am also new to the group and would like to say hello to everyone. I've been in a LDR for 6 and 1/2 months. My boyfriend and I only live about 2 hours away from each other, however seeing each other is not easy. We haven't seen each other in 3 months, and it has been hard on our relationship.

Sorry to hear that, Sam, I know the hardest times for us is when we're closer and can't be together. Normally we live about 1200 miles away, but during the summer we live about 2 hours away and when I'm there and can't see him it's so much worse than when I'm far away. I also still get nervous before I see him, but like you it only lasts till the first hug, and I enjoy still getting butterflies after all this time :)

Justin, I'm sure your week together will be amazing :) I remember the first time I met my SO I was a stuttering nervous wreck lol but as soon as we were alone it was amazing and very natural. Best of luck!
