I usually have trouble in the first of the day, I get anxious and not really sure why, maybe it is the thought of the da ahead and what to do. today I woke up bad, with a feeling of dread and very anxious. I have a ton of stuff I need to do and I don't want to do any of it, except walk my dog. I want to take the stupid tree down, I cant even look at it amd I am hosting Christmas, I feel like scrooge. I still have gifts to get and I have wrapped nothing and I don't care. I want to wake up and have it all be over. I don't understand myself, I have family who loves me, I am blessed myparents are still alive and well, I have a lifelong friend, yet I feel alone in the world. I even tried to join ourtime, an online dating site, andit said my email was already used, I had started it a very long time ago but never joined and it wont send me the password as it said they would, another confirmation that I am not destined to meet anyone and I want to. it has been 25 years since my husband died, I was in one relationship and that's about it. I just want someone to hold me and be with me. I realize I have to get myself out there but it is so hard.
just feeling very sad, down and alone today.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

I know you have a lot to do,but perhaps volunteer somewhere and give yourself a new purpose to get up
I am trying to get energy to pull my tree out and stand it up. Also volunteered to make tamales for a party Saturday. It is the only Christmas celebration I am having with other people. It's not just the making of them, it's the moving through the clutter and the washing of the equipment and working with very little work space. I want to feel better. I don't have much to look forward to, but I like to make Christmas morning nice for myself and my pets anyway. Just been feeling not well lately.
ps. glad u found help...filling out forms for any kind of aid is a pain. I hope you will qualify for what you need.
The instant I was awake and knew I could no longer go back
..I would within seconds get the stove turned on -- thinking hot chocolate here. And PDQ there would be milk out; I'd prepare that nice drink BEFORE I was near to being fully clothed....
It was something I always could do and do right. Regardless how jittery I'd be. I'd never have feelings of inadequacy. During the previous day I'd make sure all of the makings were on hand.
The fine touch was getting it to just the right temperature. 'Cause I was not gonna be twiddling my thumbs, waiting to get my blood sugar up.
Librarians I should mention: are *wizards* at Internet problems. If someone is lame about sending ya' your old password...turn a librarian loose on them.
hehe . . . / C . . . . . hope U get some relief soon
