what flu epidemic?

I got my free flu shot at walmart months ago; didn't even know all this bad stuff was going on till saw the headline in my google heath news.

the good thing about being alone? (or, for me, the good from being clueless?)

I saw a news story about a very healthy male teen who became infected with the flu and died in the hospital within four days.

An article dated 1-11-13, from CBS, stated that the flu shot is 67% effective. With that low of a success rating, it probably isn't profitable to publicize the number of people who got the injecton, but died from the flu.

The cold and flu season is alive and well in my house. Had the flu 2 weeks ago, now have a cold. Actually waiting for spring this year...for hopefully better health ...physically and mentally.

I got a flu shot about a month back,,,I am going through a second round of flu right now ,,thought that the one bout would have done it for this year,,,not a chance ,,,I feel miserable !!!!...I guess I am in the 43% group ...didn't do a thing for me this year...Cats are keeping me company...

I knock on wood that I do not usually get sick or flu...I do not get flu shots....knock on wood in knowing it could wipe me off the map to get that sick
