No I have not heard of this. The defendant has the right not to attend the trial in some states. He may be mentally ill or physically ill or just a psychopath. Remember, presumed innocent. If you are willing, share what this murder was about!

The defendant got custody of his daughter Harmony in February of 2019 to spite her mother. He hated Harmony. He took that hate out on her physically. He and his wife, their two boys and Harmony who was 5 became homeless in November of 2019. They were living out of their car. Harmony became incontinent and had accidents in the car. This infuriated her father. On December 7, 2019, they went to the methadone clinic. When Adam got back in the car, he smelled urine and started punching Harmony in the head. She was kept under a blanket because of her black eyes. He pummeled her with his fist all the way to Burger King. The stepmother put her arm up at one point but he gave her such an evil look that she stopped trying to defend Harmony. After Burger King drive-thru, their car broke down. When they went to get the kids out of the car, Harmony had died. Adam pulled a duffle bag out of the trunk and folded Harmony in half and put her in the duffle bag. He carried her body for months, concealing it in the ceiling of the shelter they got into but it the bag was leaking. Eventually he got someone to get a Uhaul truck for him and he took a long ride and disposed of the body. The body has never been found. He was found guilty of second degree murder and other offenses. I teared up knowing that Harmony finally got justice. She was the cutest little girl. She wore glasses because she was born blind in her right eye. God bless Harmony.

I live in NH and so I have naturally been following the case.
The people of this state have been devastated by what happened to Harmony. The system failed her in so many ways. She lived In NH and MA with involvement from child protective services following but than ultimately losing. Her The Manchester NH police department was determined to provide Justice for Harmony. I know a few cops and it was emotionally gruelling for them to work on this case. The police chief was so emotional after Harmony's "father" was convicted. Her body has not been found.
Her biological mother testified that the father had actually stated that he hated little Harmony because she reminded him of her mother There have been vigils and memorials all over the city. I am relieved that her father was found guilty even though the coward hid or destroyed the body. He seemed to have no remorse.

Thanks Janny! It is an incredibly sad case. That must have been hard to be so near to the case. I think he destroyed her body. Maybe the CMC bag will be found but I doubt it. I agree, he didn't have any remorse and he hated that child. I hope that Harmony is happily playing with the other children in Heaven.
