For me,,this time of year with the holidays and my birthday this month,,,it is always a particularly rough time ,,and especially this year ,,,I think that I am a generally positive person and yet things can get a bit out there,,especially when options become few and far between,,,

I see that governments as well as people are pretty stressed for much the same reasons,,,I think much of the world has lost the ability to cope in any measureable way and people are suffering for it ,,,

I am in a better position I will acknowledge than some,,,though that cannot last forever,,,,,I will acknowledge that my motivation to do what I need to do has been whittled down to barely able to get going in the morning ,,,there are times when the depressed feelings get the better of me and I am there now ,,,,or close to it ,,

I think rightly or wrongly a job defines people if for no other reason than it establishes a general self worth for an individual,,,in this regard ,,,state and local governments say all the right things but do NOTHING,,,,There was a time when governments understood the emotional impact of the unemployed and were willing and able to step up to the plate ,,,that time has long past were corruption, rhetoric, and disinterest have taken to that place ....

The seeds of this began a number of years back, and not that long ago, when jobs were shipped overseas in wholesale amounts and there was no effort by government or anyone else to intervene,,,and now we are reaping the effect ,,,

In these times it is the Federal system that has to step up to the plate and provide jobs when the private sector falls on its face as all those jobs now reside in Mumbai or God knows where else,,

One percenters where created from this inequity plane and simple.. stupid useless revenge wars certainly did not help. The few became ridiculously rich at the expense of the now out of work population,,and those still with jobs teeter on unemployment on a daily basis,,,the numbers to the contrary are mostly manipulated to reflect a house of mirrors that distort reality,,,

My advice and there is a solution to most everything if only there is a will would be to write Obama and your Congressperson on the need for public employment if even at the expense of those who amassed huge fortunes through outsourcing ..

Call me a Socialist or Communist till I will meet you on the breadlines and then talk to me of Socialism and Communism !!
