Do you every feel like no matter how many people are around you your still completely alone? My husband has a crazy work schedule so I'm pretty much a single mom of 3 kids. One of which has severe ADHD. I work from home. I'm surrounded by kids all day long with very little adult interaction. I get out maybe once a week. Everyone else in my life is always busy and have a social life. Not me. I'm stuck at home all the time. It's difficult to go anywhere because I have health issues and my son is a handful. It would be nice to find another mother that's in the same situation to talk to. Maybe exchange numbers so we can text. Or add eachother on fb so we can chat. I'm so sick of feeling lonely. No one seems to understand it. Some days I'm just ready to throw in the towel. I would love to just pack up and drive to a warm state with a beach and forget the rest.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I am sorry you have such a burden on you and I can say I understand some of it. I have a child with ADHD/Bi Polar and ODD so I know what a handful they can be to try to raise and take care of.
I am here if you want to talk sometime!
I wish you luck and peace!
But first to get you introduced to others-what about your hobbies/crafts? You can meet others with the same interests that way.
What about your special needs child drs? You can meet other parents with the same interest there. As well as contacting forums/groups for kids with special needs-they will help you locate activities and people that also deal with ADHD
just odd ball thoughts....take what you want and leave the rest they say in AA
I agree w your hint : that one person could be what you would start with.
Have u tried any DS groups on child-caring? Just thinkin' where other women would go who are in more or less the same boat as yourself .

The first 100 posts in the CircleOfMoms site[Isolation topic] were in 2012; I hope the topic still continues or can be revived easily.
