I can imagine how it feels, but try distracting yourself, planning things you can do to have a little joy, like reading or watching a movie...Hope u have fun!

I am going to be alone on Christmas too, and I know it will be a difficult day. I have made sure that I have a movie I'm looking forward to watching, a special dessert to eat, and a good book to read, so I have some activities planned throughout the day that I can look forward to. I'm going to do my best to make the day special for myself.

make a plan to do something special. Go to a movie, or go see some xmas lights.

I really like sonnycamehome's plan. If we can't be happy with others lets try to be happy with ourselves. Try to build in some distractions for yourself so you don't get feeling too lost. When in doubt, Netflix. Sometimes it's just all about killing time through distraction. I've been alone now for holidays every years for probably over ten years. It's all about beating the clock. Color, draw, Netflix, paint, clean, organize, read, put on your fav jams, cook (jam made me think of that), visit senior centers or churches, Pinterest project, take presents to homeless, etc. I can go on. It's tough, but one day at a time, or one holi-day at a time. Peace and love <3
