welp I slept late as I did not get to sleep till after 4:30am....then I found out that the bus coming in for work was running earlier by oh two hours....so I quickly got going and headed to work...picked up a present for Christmas for friend of mine $5 it is a Cardinals Baseball picture frame in glass...very nice...I am going to get a picture of the two of us at a baseball game from my phone made to go in that frame when I give it to her it will be in there....hehehe

then I got a sandwich at Jimmy Johns and went to my old work place near that to get a coffee and chocolate chipper cookie...the friend manager gifted it to me....so I saved over $5.....then hit the trail to work...got the van and headed out to meet the bus coming in....gave the chocolate chipper cookie to Dennis the other driver for our Shuttles....he enjoyed that....I did not need extra sugars....and my sugars were a bit high all afternoon from the Jimmy Johns bread on the sandwich...
bus got there at the later end of her estimated arrival....we loaded up the two ladies and I drove to Cape Giraurdeau MO...about 110 miles south of STL MO where I live....at some point I decided to change from satellite radio to see if Cardinals Baseball game was on and yes it was 6th inning....we listened until they got out of car just at the last out of game we won.....yeay....then headed back home....tried to remove a middle tail light off the shuttle bus Dennis drives because it is burned out but I could not get the tool to turn the screws....it is a strange head on that screw...had a square tip that removes the screw....I had the tip but every time I tried to turn it the dumb tool jumped out of the head of the screw....and now I have no idea how to get it out....he had a light to put in if we could remove the old....but no such luck...stopped at DQ and got the mint girlscout cookie blizzard in large....took 20 mins in drive thru line I think....:-0(

Greeneyes, hope you managed to find something good yesterday. Yard sales can be fun - at times. Bill sure does sound busy. At least he got himself a blizzard to enjoy. I ended up watering my flowers outside at about 11 pm. I realized how dry dry dry it is here and checked and sure enough, they were desperate for water. As far as your Aunt, she sounds fairly manipulative and you do not have to go visit her. You've written about her issues and it sounds like the rest of the family is turned off by her negative behaviors. Sometimes we think we have to be nice or give the benefit of the doubt but in doing so, we are throwing our pearls before swine. Take care of yourself today.

Hi urban! I did not go to yard sales. I have a rule about not bringing anything into the house. I even hate bringing mail in the house so sometimes, I leave it in the car. I don't like doing that either so sometimes I just let it pile up in the mailbox. Even when it comes in the house, I just pick out the bills that have to be paid. One time, I was going through old mail and found out that I missed a free concert by one of my favorite artists, Vienna Teng, at a nearby park. I will always be disappointed about that. Anyway, I slept a lot in the last few days. My best friend was looking for someone to go drinking with and she accidentally wrote to me. Then said oops before I could say I was not in the mood. That hurt my feelings but then I realized she was looking for someone who drinks a lot like her. When we do go out, and I don't want a second or third drink, she feels the need to explain that I have a long drive home. No, I'm not a big drinker. About my Aunt, when I was on lunchbreak one day, I ran into my Aunt at the grocery store. She asked me to be the Godmother to her baby daughter. It was never official but when my cousin turned 11 and my Aunt had surgery, I decided to step up and take my cousin out for an ice cream cone. For the next 6 years, I had my cousin every other Saturday. We got along famously. But I had to deal with my Aunt who always had mental issues. She has been driving me crazy ever since. Yesterday I was crying because I didn't want to deal with her anymore. I felt the love leave me. Sorry so long.
