I made plans a couple of weeks ago with a friend to go out today and tonight--after we made plans I have not heard from her. This friend has been blowing me off and do not know why.
I became sick this past thursday with the bad stomach bug and decided not to do anything. The so called friend had a dentist appointment this morning and the come over to my place. She did not show and it pisses me off and did not bother to call either. This is not the first time that she blew me off.
Even though I am pissed that she blew me off she could have called me-I was going to tell her that I am sick and could not go with her. It is important to take care of me and get better----I am aslo pissed that the so called friend makes plans with me and blows me off most times. Now, I will talk to her about it all and to see where our friendship lies

Hi lady di: I hope you can set out some boundaries for your friends. If they aren't willing to show courtesy and respect, then they aren't your friends. Take care and I hope you're feeling a little bit better from the stomach bug.

I would be angry too...and not accept any excuses...it happens to be really rude...and I would make sure that the rude party knew they have been extremely rude in this evenings events....hugs bill

I plan to write a letter to this so called friend since her house phone is disconnected and she is not answering her cell phone.

by the sounds at least you had a friend to make plans with, and I'm sorry it didn't work out! But you could have been me and spent the night alone at a party with 2000+ teenagers and no one talks to you because no one knows you, and your over dressed to boot and you just feel like crying and it's your birthday.

You do have a right to be upset.. I feel like this friend is very all over the place and to some degree inconsiderate(with ur feelings atleast) hey if she doesn't want to be a good friend don't be a good friend to her. Not saying u have to dump her as a friend, but stop holding her to such high regards as u do..from this day forward she can just be a person ur cool with..I hope this helps atleast alil

I wouldn't waste the price of a stamp.

If I had told someone I would do something on New Year's Eve, I would have to be dying to cancel on them, realizing how I would feel. I wouldn't be dissappointed that they didn't call so I could tell them I'm not going.

Not answering her cell phone, not showing up, she clearly is not concerned. Even if you need her friendship, it would be easier to
learn not to need her, since you can't change anyone's behavior but your own.

This peson doesn;t sound like much of a friend if she doesn't have teh coutesy of keeping her appointment with you. Short of some type of emergency that woul have prevnted you from contact ing, I would not plan on relying on her as a good friend.
