Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. The lonely person may find it difficult or even impossible to have any...
You sound obsessed with these people, sorry to say. That's probably why they are shying away from you in the way in which they are. I can speak from experience when I say I've had co-dependency issues, which is what it appears you have going on here.
You need to find something to keep your mind busy, so you don't dwell on why people are or aren't giving you the attention you desire. I struggle with anxiety, shyness, and situational depression too, but still manage to find ways to keep myself busy, even without a large circle of friends.
Don't let others have the power to control your happiness or your sadness. Try not to take it personally when someone doesn't respond or reach out to you like you hope, they probably aren't doing it intentionally, they just don't see it the same way you do.
And even if they could try harder, like you feel you're trying, is it worth the anxiety to worry about? It's not for me, but I know the struggle is real.
I wish you the best of luck!
People don't like it when you force yourself upon them, people like to feel that they are in control, and thus that they choose you when they want interaction from you. I know that sounds horrible, but thats how many people are. In time you will learn the skill of not overstaying your welcome.
Don't feel too bad over this hun, there are plenty of fish in the sea to make friends with. Stay strong, and never forget to love yourself, because you are one beautiful and amazing person. Hugg yourself, you know what I say is true, so chin up hun, and don't feel blue. :)
I am still talking alot with Kat, and she has been nicer and more flirty with me. It might turn into a relationship soon. She still seems to not want to talk to me when she is busy, but that is understandable. I was the same way in school with my crushes. We have to hold our emotions so we can focus on what's in front of us.
Tonight I hung out with Vince and our mutual friends and we all had a good time. He accepted my friend request on facebook. Vince's stepfather just died recently from a blood clot in his lung. I guess he realizes this whole thing was kind of petty.
I was also friends with Kat's brother, not close friends, but I hung out with him alot. I've been trying to get him to hang out with us again (I haven't seen or talked to him in like 9 months), but he usually says he has errands to do or something. I'll just give it time I suppose like these other relationships.
