Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. The lonely person may find it difficult or even impossible to have any...
You are in shock and it will take months for the shock to wear off.
In the office, you are civility itself, the very model of decorum. You are the serene swan on a fast-flowing river: calm above water, peddling furiously underwater.
When you have an opportunity, tell her that you forgive, that you accept what she has done, that you release her from her guilt over what she did to you (she is probably hurting, too).
Since you are in shock, address your lifestyle. Review your diet, focusing on healthy foods and plenty of water. Eat chocolate every day, exercise (for the endorphins), and masturbate as often as you can. The chocolate and the 'exercise' helps keep you balanced. Consider including a daily dose of Omega-3 fish oil tablets.
Save yourself some money: don't join an online dating site to show her that you don't need her and that you can live without her. Join a meetup that does the things that you like.
Time is your friend but you've just had a tooth pulled without anaesthetic and it is going to hurt for a while.
Start a journal; writing is great catharsis.

Hope God shows the right path....
Keep your chin up.
but the pain is still there, and you will move on. When people tell you ..get over it..etc.. don't listen. You need your time how ever long it takes, for you to deal with it. My LDR ended us , months ago, and I too am trying to deal with it. He just goes on like nothing happened. Like I meant nothing to him. It hurts, but I know I am a better person than he. I wouldn't have done that to him.
so I guess we just need to take our time to heal. That's what they all say.. Hang in there, This is a great place for support.
It will take time to move on.
Focus a bit more on you, if you can. And even though you say you don't have any other job choices....i would look anyway. You never knows what comes your way.
And strattod - i like your style
The biggest mistake I made at the time was leaving the company quickly -I took a horrible job and it sort of ruined my career for a while.
I know this is a horrible time right now. I would suggest getting counseling immediately to work through this and to keep yourself extremely busy -perhaps taking on a 2nd job in the evening to keep yourself occupied.
For me, the key was to let go and to decide that I deserved to be with someone that wanted to be with me. If this girl has chosen the other man, there is just nothing you can do. Take time to grieve, but in the end wish her well and know that your life has a plan.
My plan took longer in life, but I finally got married in my late 30's and have a sweet little boy. I've been through two engagements prior to meeting my husband and know the desperation that heart break can bring. Please feel free to call on me for help during this time. I will be thinking (and praying -hope that is ok) for you.
PS One other thing that really helps -join a gym and get really into working out. It can do wonders for your mind and bod at this time :)
Buy in a box of Kleenex and take it to the office. That girl is going to need your tissues and your support soon.
