Hi everyone, because I'm new to this community, I was wondering if there are other like-minded people out there. By this, I mean especially with the burden of loneliness, do you feel like being lonely and rejected has made you more compassionate and empathetic in your life?

Every struggle, every rejection, every relational blow, I now use as fuel to make me more devoted to healing the wounds of others and giving love to the unloved. I've always been drawn to "outcasts" or "damaged" individuals, but I think my own experiences might be part of the reason. Do you feel the same?
I'd love to hear your thoughts about this...

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon
