That has happened to me and I erased all my internet history and reset my modem and it fixed the problem. If you contact your provider, do you think they might be able to help you?

That is absurd!!! Why would anyone consider it unsafe puzzles me? Along those lines-today I was unable to get on facebook. I tried for over 5 hours. Finally I called facebook support. I was told I had been hacked (?) A foreign address was shown as using my account to access everything on my computer. The support tech said that is why I can not access fb. He then tried selling me security for $199. I did not buy it. I am going to call around to see if this is believable.

Wow adlk1234 - that really sucks. I hope it gets resolved soon, they shouldn't be charging you for anything like that. If their site got hacked it's THEIR fault not yours.

what internet browser do you use? what internet security software are you using? oh and who is you internet provider? it makes no sense that it would block ds. its possible you may have a virus, or malware on your system preventing you to access the page. there are free software out there that can be used for preventive maintenance for you pc, laptops, that you can use along with your current security software like nortons, mcaffee or whatever you may have, i find what your main software does not detect the others will.

if you use firefox or chrome, for the add-on use adblock plus and ghostery for browser protection. with ghostery you may have to tweak it yourself to allow certain things to work, like video players on certain site or the ability to connect with fb, twitter, google+ etc, y if you're like me and use fb as a tool to connect to sites without going to the process of creating a account.

@adlk1234, how did you get a phone number for Facebook support? I have an old account I only had for a short while, and I want to get in and shut it down completely, I didn't really like Facebook and still don't, but I cannot get in to do that because they are also saying I got hacked. I cannot access it without giving them my driver's license to prove it is me. I want to call, but I can't find a number - if you have one, I would love to have it!

Googling " fb and telephone number " brings up more than a couple of possibilities. --And some pessimism; fb has plenty of finicky customers and I think is not particularly user friendly.

I'm sorry heretic where are you at that internet would say that ds is an unsafe site? I think it would be one of your service providers or maybe your security on your computer. I would check into that, it's probably one click of a button, that is all you need to fix. Firewall maybe, I don't see not being able to access DS.

Well that's good news heretic lol i just read your last post, before i posted what i said. so never mind.

When things are bad, that is when you need to be on DS with us. There is something not right about your internet provider blocking you from anywhere. How can they make that choice for you? When you aren't at the other site, I do worry about you. I'm glad I was able to find you. Hugs GB
