some of the poor and stoopid in my hometown wound up avoiding the lonely by marrying their cousin, though thankfully I never had that option.

(turmeric curcumin to start popping today; bought that at walmart, supposedly a remedy against stoopid damage)

if your poor throwing money away on herbs at the cost of cars is not too smart in my book...think how much that stuff costs if you bought enough to weigh as much as a car? I bet it is cheaper to buy the car....LOL

a half hour ago I just helped somebody shovel out their stuck car---the exercise was better for me than if I would be driving.

and here, on next block somebody went around slashing car tires a few years ago, and downstairs neighbor wound up behind in their rent cause they got stuck with a lemon....my nerves are too frazzled to worry about a car.

and, I got to feel good by instinctively telling the driver---who owns a business nearby---that he would be better off going forward, on the slight hill, than trying to back up, when he was stuck in a snowed in parking spot. he was ready to call a tow truck!

I didn't know about caleb as a spy for moses. I have read about tutmoses being the root/inspiration for moses, as well as amen-ra being the inspiration for amen.

I prefer camus to sarte, though sarte idea of hell being other people is good (and inspiration for various twilight zone episodes?)

Turmeric is really good for you. I was taking it for a while, but also taking too many other vitamins. Something was upsetting my stomach so I quit them all for a while and plan to add them back in one at a time to see what my tummy didn't like.

Owning a car is expensive and not everyone can afford it. Probably why they have things like buses and taxi cabs about. Most herbal supplements are pretty cheap, especially if you're buying from walmart. A bottle probably costs less than a gallon of gas.

You are definitely not stupid. Keep drinking tea and eating tomatoes. you WILL get your health back and then we shall dance!

I feel lonely, poor, and stupid. I am disabled with Emphysema; my SS Disability is not much; even though I worked 35 years. The stupid part is that I do not get enough oxygenated blood to my brain. All of my friends have moved away; one passed away; and the closest family lives 2500 miles from me. I am on my own. Penn: you do not seem stupid to me at all. You seem quite intelligent; but/and you could possibly be struggling with depression and isolation. I hope you come to value yourself; and maybe find a way to move farther away from your hometown. Like you; I lived in my hometown for 55 years. My sibling were smart and moved as far away as they could.
My hometown triggers my PTSD. I moved 6 miles away; it is not far enough. Best wishes in healing your "broken down no-life".

Penn, you haven't posted about your No. 2 kitty and how that one is doing and how you're spending more time with that kitty and giving that kitty attention.

Dumb vs klutzy-in-ordinary-practicalities sure are not the same.

thanks for posting about taking turmeric; I'm glad I'm not alone with that.

Tuesday scariness at walmart---I touched a cheap blanket, took it to a price checker on the wall, put it back after I didn't like the price....with my fingers itching, me scratching, fingers turned all red, and looking in a mirror, my neck turned all red! It was like some cartoon, how quick my fingers turned red.

I grew up around poison sumac with no troubles, and now red fingers and itchy hands for a half hour---though I'm glad I found a site where other people had problems with a walmart blanket.

p.s. it might be the vitamins making you sick; too much iron in vitamins.
