hopefully everyone here yesterday survived ok, too.
vented here yesterday...barely need to vent any more....had a can of chile yesterday from nearby five and dime.
"hi...(price of stuff bought)...have a nice holiday...you too"---the complete conversation i had with all total humans, 5&10 cashier, on thanksgiving.
i check local craigslist, to try to feel how happy i should be to have an actual apt, with cats allowed, and no shared bathroom---# of would-be roommate or sleeping room ads on thanksgiving, and for what i pay for my private refuge.
but, today, black friday----black again: poor homeless cat i feed on my kitchen roof....with big splinters in its side!!!

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
I am so glad to be away on retreat instead of trying to do the black friday avoidance thing...I would not be one out there night before but I might look in the flyers seeing what great deals are there...I already had flood of them in my inbox....

my retreat keeps me away from stores all weekend...but not from my DS friends...Iphone hot spot and brought my computer with me...laptop....
when i had $ from an insurance settlemen, i donated $ to the shelter, had my own trap, donated $ with each cat outside my apt i took there---but now that i dont have that, no word from shelter.
i did offer them $40 if they caught the cat.
but, a couple hours ago i found a dead flea in the empty cans i take off the roof every garbage day----from now on its food just on paper towels, with the paper towels blowing away.
