Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. Hello,
I'm having a real hard time right now, crying and feeling so alone. I'm still in my bed because I can't get motivated to get out.
It's a beautiful day outside, but I can't seem to get to the point where I feel that I can enjoy and embrace the day.
I am alone, I have texted everyone that I know yesterday just for some communication. A few short replies with not much content.
I feel so sad. Life is supposed to be better than this.
I have been trying to connect with people but its just a different world today.
I miss being around people and having a good time.
I wish I wasn't here.....

Now that I am not talking to my whatever best friend, I realized that her life is full of drama. I had grown tired of hearing her stories about her boyfriend many months ago. She basically had been monopolizing conversations for that long too. She pretty much stopped asking me questions about me. I passed her in front of her classroom the other day and didn't even look at her. I am...

Jay's podcasts are really good. I watch them on YouTube for free. Today, I watched his video about motivation. In fact, I've been watching a few videos on this subject. Jay gave us an assignment to complete the following sentence: I am stuck because? I don't describe myself as stuck, but to finish the sentence, I would say that I am stuck because I am tired. When I have energy, I do...
I blame social media for part of this. You're not alone in being lonely.
Always remember, you are not alone and you can bring yourself out of it by taking it one day at a time. Journal about how you are helping yourself and you will be helping others as well. and you will make friends in the process.
So instead of focusing on the negative, try to figure out a way to turn things around for yourself even if it seems silly, like noticing something that made you laugh.......I remember once I journaled about a spider web and it made me laugh as well as others who read my journal that day. It takes practice but I know you can do it and others will be helped by your example! You can do it, we know you can and we will give you support along the way. Journal every day. Send out friend requests so they can get daily reminders when you post a new journal and then we can learn of your successes and even your temporary failures and we can share our knowledge with you. That's how we help one another....that's how we heal.....
God Bless
It was just a thought. If nothing else I wouldn't say no to having another friend to talk to so you're welcome to give me a shout any time if you want. If not that's fine too but either way I really hope you find someone to talk to to help you get rid of the loneliness you've been feeling.
Good luck!
Online friends can be great. I do enjoy writing to others but its not the same.
I wonder sometimes if the ideal I have in my mind about my ideal relationship is not al little bit over the top. If you know what I mean?
