I keep going to my AA meetings and watch other people hook up. I never get squat. They are the Winners. Their job there is to have sex and relationships. My job there is to cheer them on. Make them feel good about themselves. Lie and say I'm grateful. Bunch of BS. Trying to get help from anyone I know is like talking to a brick wall. Some people say they are sorry I am hurting. But no one ever helps. America is way too uptight about sex. Except for the winners. That's how they control losers like me. Next life. Next life. Have a great day. :)

Hooking up in AA? Surprising. I thought they discouraged that. Maybe you need to put sex on the back burner for a while and focus on recovery and personal development? Good luck

I have 26yrs in AA and I have never had a date with someone in AA for another reason than to have a meal out....

losers hook up and do what is called 13th step with newcomers....the reality is the sobriety is not that great for them....they still behave poorly when it comes to the opposite sex....they have more amends to make when they have sex out side of a serious relationship with loving partner.....

But you believe what you want....I do not think your a loser if you are sober and not acting on character defects to sexually exploit someone else in recovery.....

I do have a few (3) sexual relationships since being in AA.....one I tried to marry....the other I did marry....third is sort of hit or miss right now....headed towards being friends....and none of them were AA....one said she had done AA but having given up going to meetings and also trying to give me her drink when we met at a company function at a comedy club....I did not qualify her as sober and she married me for a few years....
