hi everyone, hope you guys are having a good day, any sort of advice will be greatly appreciated.
so, I have a girlfriend and we've been dating since august so about 5 months or more now. we argue a lot, mostly started by me because I get this feeling that she is very unappreciative of all that I due for her. she has this thing where she doesn't feel it's not necessary to introduce me to her mother or even tell her mother about me or that we're dating, she feels I need to earn that prestige. I understand where she's coming from in not wanting to introduce some guy you just met to your family, but we've been dating for 5 months now...I send her sweet messages, whenever she's sick(which is all the time) I look up remedies online that she can use, I ask my parents/grandparents what home remedies she can do to help her get better. we talk everyday thru text(we don't talk on the phone) and I ask her about her day....we have, what I consider, meaningful conversations. I tell her how much I love her, and she in return does not relay the affection. she has a hard time even calling me "hun", "babe you know , just common things you would call the person your in a relationship with. all my family knows about her, 'm so invested in her and I jut feel like she's not invested in me. if I got hit by a bus tomorrow, it wouldn't affect her in the least bit, because none of her personal life involves me. nobody on her family knows about me, we could break u and she could turn around and live life like we never even happened. idk guy, I really like her I just need some advice on what to do

Keep buying her presents because then she can snatch them out of your hands and rip off the gift tag and be a brat. It isn't gratitude, it's attitude that she shouldn't have with you. People that love you treat you better than that.
People have told you here that you are a good guy, so why hang around to get kicked in the nads by this chick. How many times makes enough?
I remember being in a similar situation when I was around your age. You sound like a really caring and awesome person. She sounds undeserving of all that you've offered her. Take all of that caring and awesomeness and find someone who is worthy of all you have to offer.
I know it's hard when you feel you'd rather have a shitty relationship than nothing going on at all, but trust me you don't need her and you will be perfectly fine being on your own for awhile.
In the meantime, while you are looking for a better match for you just work on yourself. Work on self-esteem, self-love, confidence, and being enjoying life as a single person. Busy yourself with your work, your family, your friends, your hobbies/interests.
When you feel you've met that right person, here's some advice. Slow down. Don't be too passive, don't be afraid to make moves, but do keep a healthy pace. Don't rush it to love/commitment before you know that the person is interested and invested in you. Don't smother her or shower her with undue gifts and attention.
Don't let your love interest be the center of your life.
Instead have other goals and ambitions to focus on. You are so young and have the potential to build a great career or set up a business. Girls can be a part of your life but don't let it get out of hand to where someone has you on an emotional leash.
Keep your priorities straight, and trust me there are 1000's of better women out there for you who deserve you way more. Be patient with your next girl, and give and take evenly :)
