I was alone for years and finally found a wonderful man. However, I don't have many friends to go out with but am thankful I have my fiance'. As I've gotten more involved in our relationship, moved, had some home improvements down, etc. I stopped getting on DS regulary. Now, I'm feeling the sting of what I've caused by not being on here. Many of my DS friends have stopped hugging and messaging me. I feel so bad about it because it was me who has not been on here. I can't blame them. I thought that not being on here all the time meant that I was finally "getting a life" and doing better but DS is still important to me. Now that I've found some time to come back here I find that alot of my friends don't interact anymore. I feel so guilty and I feel it gets redundant to tell them "Sorry I've not been on" over and over. So, has anyone else been where I'm at with DS? I never meant to let any of my DS friends down by not being online alot.

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

I think your real DS friends will 'love' you unconditionally and when they see that you're 'back,' they'll start dropping by again. Give them time, hug them to say hi, don't expect anything and you may be surprised.
I don't think there's any need to apologize or feel guilty unless you were intentionally being mean, which I don't think you were.
Hugs! And welcome back!
It has been said that everlasting friends go long periods of time without speaking and never question the friendship. These friends pick up like they just spoke yesterday, regardless of how long it has been or how far away they live and they don't hold grudges. They understand that life is busy and you will always love them. They know who they are. :)
If they are not happy to hear from you and hear you are doing well, you will need to make new friends. I am always happy to hear from people when they have been away a while!
