Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. The lonely person may find it difficult or even impossible to have any...

I keep on making the same mistakes, either from loneliness and/or as adult child of drunken parents, with factor of hoping the best from the wrong people.
Today to feed cat of downstairs lowlifes who have sneaked out, from owing back rent----should have seen a mile away that they would let the cat stay behind, for me to feed it, and hope the cat doesn't die from the cold.
I've been feeding 'their' cat for about a year.
2 lowlifes snuck out, have plans to get married for valentines day, while meanwhile 'their" cat today has a scary wound above its eye.
Was 2 years ago, another lowlife who I talked nice to, gave a soda to when he was broke, slashed my bicycle tire---only cause I complained about the water that was coming down from his apartment, for over 10 hours; I didn't want to think that lowlife slashed my tire (he eventually got taken away in handcuffs by the police, for something else; I slept through it).
I really have to learn not to talk to such people, and expect the worst from people who, so obviously, anybody else would expect the worst from

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I've been trying to figure out some lemonade from this lemon, though hard to do so with the snow coming down right now.
the shelter, which I regret giving over a thousand dollars to, total, back in 2006/07, when I had $ from an accident, wont trap any cat themselves, though I have offered them the little money I have to trap # cats I've been feeding.
this poor cat scratches with fleas even in winter, and I have to worry about feline leukemia with my own cat. I'm not ashamed to say I have more pity for the cat, than I do for the irrisponsible couple who will probably be sneaking out on a # of landlords during their life together.
As far as the wound above the eye, not sure what you could possibly do for a cat you can't catch.
If you can catch it? Triple antibiotic ointment is cheap and fine to use on animals.
I don't guess the price of a live trap ($35), is in your reach either.
I wish I didn't live halfway across the country, my ex left behind a pair of live traps. I wonder if you could call up an animal removal service, explain the predicament and financial situation, and arrange to rent or borrow a live trap or something?
As far as bad people...the world sadly abounds with them. There are good people out there though.
most of the poor I've known are either stupid or really crazy---a politically incorrect idea that also makes me lonely.
stupid/crazy enough me have known mostly the dregs of society; petty criminals, bums, addicts, drunks...no doubt cause my parents were drunken lowlifes.
It was only in last couple years that I met some nice people, though they amounted to librarians, my landlord, some cashiers. Meanwhile, a couple of the mental health counselors in town are real sleazeballs.
The downstairs lowlifes obviously saw their cat as nothing more than a mere object rather than a living creature. They were going to abandon that kitty regardless of what you did. That cat is blessed to have you look out for it.
my landlord once offered to take cat for neutering when annual cheap neutering---downstairs idiots didn't bother.
the no-kill shelter is sometimes too full to accept more...and they stopped emailing me when I told them of 3 other homeless? cats, with my offer of giving them money to trap them.
in 2011? I spent about a thousand dollars, on various remedies, to get rid of fleas that maybe came from my cat for haircut....I woke up from falling asleep on floor at noon and woke up screaming----cause it took maybe 4 months to get rid of the fleas...a nightmarish event I still have told anybody in "real" world.
lots of rural people hate cats; a computer repairman called them "evil."
when I woke up screaming, went to e.r. for a sedative, they ready to put me in mental ward, with me also telling the ward director of seeing a crippled bird on highway months prior while biking, and how I refused to be the one having to stomp the thing to death to put it out its misery; I biked away and cursed/yelled the rest of the ride home.

Called the shelter and they said they would come get them. So I let them stay in a box on my front porch for the night. It was summer so they were plenty warm and safe. But the next day the shelter did not come. Eventually I got my cousin to drive me to the shelter with the kittens but when I got there, they said they were over crowded and would have to put the kitten to sleep. I said NOPE! and took them all back home with me.
So began the horrible summer of FLEAS. These 4 kittens had so many fleas and our house got super infested, especially in my bedroom where they kittens lived. I still have scars on my ankles and shins where hundreds of fleas bit me constantly. I definitely felt like I was losing my mind. I couldn't sleep and spent most of my time washing kittens and trying different flea killers around the house.
Taking in strays is definitely a undertaking. Most of my cats through the years have been strays and they can come with tons of fleas and a number of medical and mental issues. Not everyone can handle that. I had a stray cat follow me home from the store once, then he died the next day. He didn't look sick, but obviously was very much so. Maybe he just didn't want to die alone.
my landlord/landlady live just a bit out of town, where lots of cats/kittens get dumped---they've had lots of them die, including ones who look healthy and die that quick.
so many disgusting details about fleas....including combing out a dozen fleas every day off each cat, next to toilet, where I could throw the fleas, with fleas trying to climb out toilet water, to put toilet paper over them to drown them.
and I still lay my clothes on salt in living room closet, when outside cat I feed gets too close---salt kills fleas.
(an hour ago I started feeling lousy about not confronting the lowlife duo about their cat, though I'm just too cowardly/burnt out for such confrontations)
really wish I had spoken up to them.
flipped out today to others in building who left cat out when I caught it; kinda misplaced anger.
