Good morning everyone, I have t written In here in awhile . But this group has always been so kind and helpful, I absolutely love it. Lately , I have felt so utterly alone . With me I've felt this way on and off my whole life. And typically it'll fade away for awhile . This time it's not . To top it off I'm not always a very social person , but the loneliness is hitting me so hard that I want to become a social person , but that's not easy for me . I think the main reason I feel so alone , is because I work all the time . I work every weekend when others have off so I really can't see people when they're free. I'm starting to resent my job . I haven't had a day off in over a month and a half and it's burning me to the ground . I'm a supervisor where I work and we're so short staff , that there really isn't a choice for me. I'm afraid to quit because I need health insurance for my daughter and I . Also im trying to buy a house by august and I know they usually like you to have a job for at least two years , or so I've been told . I hate talking to people about this because I feel like im just going on and on. So I don't . But then I feel like I'm just slowly suffocating in my own skin . I just want things to get better soon .

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Be good to yourself for all the hard work you are doing and go shopping for just you and buy something that will make you feel good. You need to take breaks and sit in quiet occasionally to have some peace of mind.
If you can do that then it will take much of the stress off, from working all those hours.
~~~Peace~~~
Take time for yourself to do self care, relax, rejuvenate, have some fun. You deserve it!
She now says she should have taken the house, rejected subsequent ones, says she has various medical problems, feet, eyes, smell, and says she ruined everything. Family members suspected a stroke or Alzheimer given the dramatic change in behavior, but there was no damage to any function, memory is fine, and a brain MRI showed little.
I finally bought a new house with her reluctant consent and now she says she doesn't like it, but also is unhappy at the friend's home where we are now living. I've tried to be enthusiastic telling her that everyone can make mistake, decisions were joint, the market changed, and that she can have a nice life if she exercises, takes medicine, and has a positive attitude but she just continues to blame herself. A hospitalization accomplished little. She eats ice cream and wants to go on rides, and go to sleep just saying she ruined everything. What do I/we do?
