Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. The lonely person may find it difficult or even impossible to have any...

I am considering ending my wretched life. I have long ago lost all joy and hope for change.
For many years, I was a very hostile person, and was unkind to more people than I can recall. I know there are many who would like to have their say, including lots of people who never even knew my name. To each of them, I’m sorry for any undeserved pain or insult I might have inflicted. I don’t need to hear from you. You cannot hurt me any more than I already hurt myself with unrelenting self-loathing.
My main concern about self-euthanization is its possible selfishness. There is no one in my life whose own would be worse for my loss. I am incapable of forming intimate relations with friends or lovers. I am utterly alone.
Before I make my final decision, I need to know if there is anyone whose life I substantially improved. I need specific examples that I will remember. The last thing I want is someone telling me I cheered them up with a nice comment to their post, or smiled at them in the check-out line. I’m talking about really making a difference. Something only I could have done.
I need to know if my value outweighs my misery. If it does, I sure as hell don't see it.

The best antidepressant is when my wishes are honored. An example, the faucet in my apartment was running although the knobs were turned shut all the way, and one of the pulling strings on my ceiling fan came off. As soon as I notified my maintenance man, he was quick to reply with the work order. RAPID response... he's getting my services around my apartment done. I appreciate my landlord and...

Hello,so I'm currently in a weird relationship with my long distance ex who I've never met in person and it's taking a toll on me. I've lost 15 pounds and lost my appetite, but I'm really attached to him. We've had a lot of problems and I think that has caused me to gain severe anxiety. I don't know if I should wait until it gets better or what. Everytime I've blocked him, it has tend to make me...

You can find happiness in the darkest places, if you remember to turn on the lights! what else can I say... I know you are looking for something specific and I cant give it =( though I just wanted to let you know it will be okay n your not alone
I volunteer just to have a reason to get dressed twice a week. But it does not touch the deep ache in my soul. Basically, I do it to force myself to shower.
I'm 60 years old. I've done 40 years of therapy, 10 years of groups, multiple psych med cocktails. Nothing, I repeat, nothing has brought me the slightest measure of joy or ability to connect with my fellow human beings. I don't know why I even posted here.
I apologize for posting about a situation for which there is no answer. Thanks for trying. May you both find more value in life than I have.
I believe in your sincerity. I believe you mean every word you wrote. And if you had wronged me, I know in my heart I could forgive you, knowing how much harm it's done to you. Even if they chew a piece of hide off you, you'll know you tried to do the good thing.
You don't come across as a bad or angry person at all in this post, so it leads me to believe you truly aren't that person anymore.
Find the people you can, make your amends, and then let `that guy' go. .
