I've received messages -- on a social site -- from someone (nice) but am a lil' but puzzled why that person is interested in me.

More later. Am too busy to really spell this out.

It is a woman.400 miles away, and I've been concerned/up till now/w local ppl. Should I just "relax and enjoy it"? To not be uneasy why this person is int'd in me..

relax I know for me I have no interest in long distance relationships but telephone talks....and I have several of those with women around the country...so no big deal...but if she is seeing you as her man of all men be weary because that is not right in that she is 400miles away....I am not going 100miles to see anyone let alone 400miles...ever...

Bill, just my input. If you truly like and then love someone you will go many miles to see them. Distance can not keep you away. Eventually you would make a plan to be together. Calebb, this is confusing as you don't say how this lady knows you. What is she really after?

She might be paying attention to many men in the same way. Some people just play the odds. Ive known men who do the same thing. Time will tell. Its called the scatter gun technique. Sorry to be so cynical. I hope its the start of a good friendship instead.
