I feel so out of place in this college. I swear, everybody in my classes are soo smart and then there's me...just sitting over there, the true dumbass in the class.i dnt understand anything(mostly due to not reading) but..idk this is all my fault not the teachers, not the other students just me. And I realize that, I know that for a fact but that's it! That's as far as I go, I dnt make any effort to try to get caught up, idk I'm just really disgusted with who I am, I don't know why I dnt do anything..I'm not sure of myself anymore I can just say it could be due to me just being lazy, or literally stupid. But it has to be the second one because only an idiot like me would let themselves slip and not only bit do anything about it but also blame other people for not helping me. I am just..something else, I swear. I understand why people dnt wanna be around me, my personality is shitty and that coupled with being a physically ugly person to match no wonder I have no real relationships with people outside my family. My family has to deal with me but these other people could care less. And that's what I want to not only realize but accept, but forget, and then live. I'm not living and I literally dnt know what to do...i started going to therapy last week, but I'm not comfortable telling people how I feel face-to-face I turn into a blubbering idiot smh. And life just seems to be moving at an nice incredible fast pace, that I know my therapist won't be able to catch up

The best antidepressant is when my wishes are honored. An example, the faucet in my apartment was running although the knobs were turned shut all the way, and one of the pulling strings on my ceiling fan came off. As soon as I notified my maintenance man, he was quick to reply with the work order. RAPID response... he's getting my services around my apartment done. I appreciate my landlord and...

Hello,so I'm currently in a weird relationship with my long distance ex who I've never met in person and it's taking a toll on me. I've lost 15 pounds and lost my appetite, but I'm really attached to him. We've had a lot of problems and I think that has caused me to gain severe anxiety. I don't know if I should wait until it gets better or what. Everytime I've blocked him, it has tend to make me...

A family member that I believed just wasn't capable of doing well in school, once brought home very bad grades and a note about talking too much and disrupting the class. For at least two weeks, he was made to do home work, study and read for 2 hours, every night. His test scores were A+s, and I remember him telling me that every question the teacher asked, he raised his hand to answer, and everyone was looking at each other in
amazement because he never raised his hand or answered anything. When the required study time ended, everything went
back to the way it was.
You met their requirements to get into the college, you can definitely do the work, if you try. Probably, the students who are paying for every class, every book, everything, don't stay out all night partying. I don't see how the big drinkers and partiers last a semester.
If you had grown up hearing that you were wonderful, being praised for good things, and disciplined in a reasonable manner,
you would feel totally different about yourself. You're an adult, and you can change what you want to change about yourself. Constructive criticism helps us. The destructive things other people say or that you tell yourself is very damaging.
Don't worry, the therapist can cash your checks, ask you how you feel about stuff, maybe even make some suggestions, but the
education and skills required to become a therapist prevents
any hand-wringing, doubt or ability to keep up.
If you won't make yourself do the work, develop good study habits,
read what you're supposed to read - 10 times if you have to, why
waste your money or someone else's? It's completely in your
hands.
