Hepatic tumors are tumors or growths on or in the liver. These growths can be benign or malignant (cancerous). They may be discovered on medical imaging (even for a different reason than the cancer itself), or may present in patients as an abdominal mass, hepatomegaly, abdominal pain, jaundice, or some other liver dysfunction.
Just found out my sister has liver cancer. By the time her symptoms presented themselves she was already stage 1V. This is unbelievably shocking.

I am also so sorry. My sister was diagnosed with liver cancer in August of 2012. She had carcanoid cancer with eight tumors in varied parts of her liver. It is shocking to hear of this diagnosis. I will be praying for you, your sister and your family. Cancer definitely impacts the one with the illness, as well as the whole family. Please keep us posted.

It is such a shocking cancer. My boyfriend is only 24 and he has it too. The diagnosis seemed to come out of nowhere. They surgically removed all of his tumors two months ago and we thought we were in the clear for awhile, until an MRI scan last week turned up 5 new spots. Now he's in chemo in the hopes of becoming eligible for a transplant, although he currently is not. I'm also wondering what the treatment plan is for your sister...

Firsg let me say there will be extra prayers for your Sister. I to was diagnosed with Stage IV as well just over 14 months ago. I must say it was a shock and then with the love and support of my family and friends I set out to getting better, if not better, at least the very best I can be and so far it's working. Feeling good, no pain, just weight loss.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
