Hepatic tumors are tumors or growths on or in the liver. These growths can be benign or malignant (cancerous). They may be discovered on medical imaging (even for a different reason than the cancer itself), or may present in patients as an abdominal mass, hepatomegaly, abdominal pain, jaundice, or some other liver dysfunction.
Hi! I had a liver transplant in 07 due to Hep C that turned cirrhosis into cancer. Everything was fine until July 09 when we found a nodule in my lung that led to removal of part of my lung and some lymph nodes. Three mos. later more nodules were found in both lobes of my lungs. Put on Nexavar and have been on treatment for almost a yr. with no change in size(still very small). Last week I found out that a few of the nodules have grown ever so slightly. Dr is suggesting to check out MD Anderson to see if there are any treatments that have included transplant pts. Has anyone heard of anything involving transplant pts? Waiting to hear from my dr now. Will have another ct scan in 4-6wks to check out if there is still growth occuring. Still on oral chemo for now but not sure what is next. I would like to ask everyone who reads this to please pray for me. I'm a single mom and my concern is for my son. Thanks Lisa

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
This illness just keeps suprising me with the many areas that it effects.
You sound like a brave woman who is just trying to hold on for your son.
I wish that I had a majic wand and I could wave off all of the troubles from all of my new friends here.
This illness is ever so cruel in that it can manifest itself into a complete new set of problems quickly.
Again Im so very sorry that more trouble has come into play.
