Life After Divorce Support Group
This community is dedicated to starting over after a divorce. With the marriage over, how do individuals begin a new chapter in their lives and what hurdles do they face? Divorce is often one of the most traumatic periods in a person's life. Studies show it is the second-most stressful event in life, after the death of a spouse.

I left my husband nine months ago. We have a six year old daughter together. Today we still see each other romantically but I cannot consider returning to the relationship.
I am an adult child of an alocholic and am growing painfully aware of the symptoms of this. My first husband was an alcoholic and verbally abusive. I ended up leaving him basically on a whim. He was blown away and never saw it coming. The problem is my second husband said the same thing. When I process what happened I am unclear. My Mother passed away in March and I left him in May. There were problems in our marriage but i don't think they were enough to leave the marriage and yet I did.
I met someone else and began a relationship with that person before I even took time to heal from my marriage ending. The person I was seeing is wonderful but we are not compatible. I see some cyclical patterns and just wonder if I am alone on this.
I had a car accident which was very traumatic, the other lady died and I spent the next three years in recovery and having 29 surgeries to put me back together. The final surgery I had allowed me to walk again and it was then that I left my first husband.
I have lost both my parents and my brother in the last five years. After my Mother dies I leave my second husband. It seems as though I cannot attach with any sense of permanency.

maybe you are just the kind of woman who likes to trade in her men every few years for new ones. that is ok as long as you let men know that they are only temporary. just don't bother marrying them any more.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
