check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

We can't control what other people think nor can we control what they do. We can only control what we think and do and how we react to certain situations so that is why it is best to ignore those who say and do things that cause us emotional and physical harm. In the skeme of things, there will come a day when your sis will regret having lied. Trust me, I have seen it time and time again!
Hope this helps!

I totally AGREE WITH bobinmain, IGNORE THE fill-in the blank. Be yourself and I guess it's more than difficult, but just let her rage....you could recommend help. But, it's up to her to get it...ONLY WHEN SHE IS READY.
I've a daughter that "she almost called the number for help" that I gave her. 'ALMOST' doesn't count.
Good luck. I'll say prayers for you and your family. Keep positive in your sights!
Remember, we can't CHOOSE our family...only our Friends.
I am hopeful. What "bobinmaine" said gave hope to me also. Being reminded of those sick things isn't good for us. We do know that, don't we? My-oh-my! Aren't we the brainiacs?!(lol) Seriously, you will be okay; and, so will I.
In fact, I took my 'boy'friend(he'll be 69 on the 12th of June, teeheehee/lol)to the homes that my Grandfather built. They are still there. The female cousin who abused me now lives in the house that my family lived in.
But, my point is, I went into the yard. I showed John the miniature house and castle, with mote(sp?)that he built in his garden...and I didn't shake, cry, or die from going there. Had she come out, I simply would have walked away. I did it! I actually went there and I lived through that too.
My Dad never knew what happened to me. I suppose I am most like my Father. That too has given me strength in myself. He was a giving, caring, and gentle in spirit. I know that some of his most honorable strengths I chosen to take after, at least I've tried.
I love all of you here at DS. We've all had bad, for the most part. Here, however, is good, safe, loving and supportive ~ how could we not feel compassion for one another?! I've new mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers. The good I choose to hold onto forever then(my "real" life) and now(here, at DS, "heaven on earth, to me).
